AirBin - Outdoor is a next-generation, multi-function air pollution control device engineered to safeguard the environment and all living beings from the consequences of dirty and polluted air. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week on an Automated Air Quality Index Monitoring System , this appliance utilizes data-driven Artificial Intelligence to effectively reduce infection and mortality.
The unit features advanced IoT & AI for fine monitoring and is equipped with an automated control system that allows for remote access. AirBin - Outdoor is built on a patented, multi-stage purification process that combines 9 proven technologies and methods for air treatment in a single unit. It operates on a demand-driven system for air cleaning to maximize energy efficiency and provides an even diffusion of the cleaned air flow
The Environmental Sensor Kit allows for continuous monitoring of air quality, detecting a comprehensive list of pollutants and environmental factors: Nitrogen Oxide, Ozone, PM2.5, PM10, Carbon Monoxide, Sulphur Oxide, temperature, Humidity, and Rain.
AirBin actively controls and eliminates a wide range of harmful airborne substances, including: PM 1, PM 2.5, PM 10, Sulphur Dioxide, Ozone, Carbon Monoxide, Nitrogen Oxide, Lead, Aerosol, Hydrocarbon, TVOC, Poisonous Gases, Airborne Bacteria & Virus, Dust particles, and Heavy Metals.
AirBin - Outdoor is designed to filter out harmful pollutants from the ambient air 10, providing active dilution of polluted air and a high air absorption capacity11. The unit reduces air pollution in five distinct steps12. It is recommended by State Governments for installation at hotspot locations in cities to curb air pollution and maintain the ideal outdoor air quality13. The non-hazardous waste collected is disposed of according to applicable laws14.
The initial stage focuses on removing and collecting a wide range of particulate pollutants. This includes general dust, pollen, microbes, and gaseous pollutants, as well as larger particulate matter, gases, and heavy metals.
The system uses Ionisation to actively charge the particulate matter and carbon particles. This enables the efficient removal of substances like aerosols, hydrocarbons, heavy metals, and various emissions in the subsequent Remover stage.
The device features dedicated processes to eliminate volatile and biological threats. A Neutralise stage targets bacteria & viruses in the polluted air, while an Oxidation process is used to oxidize and convert TVOC’s (Total Volatile Organic Compounds) and other volatile compounds.
The system has an Eliminate function specifically to remove moisture and vaporized pollutants, such as smoke, oil mist, and smog.
A dedicated Odour Control process removes unpleasant odours and foul smells, including H₂S (hydrogen sulfide) and ammonia, from the polluted air.
The underlying R&D behind AirBin includes harnessing nanotechnology to create filters with finer pores, enabling the capture of even smaller particles. This cutting-edge approach allows filters to undergo catalytic reactions to neutralize harmful gases.
